VAPI & Voice

API keys live in the backend .env file for security. To enable real calls, set VAPI_PRIVATE_KEY, VAPI_PHONE_NUMBER_ID and your voice provider, then run npm run seed:agents.

Human-voice checklist

  • Connect ElevenLabs / Cartesia / Sarvam in VAPI for natural Indian voices
  • Pick real Indian voice IDs and set them in seedAgents.ts, then re-seed
  • Use a paid plan for lowest latency (no robotic dead-air)
  • Tune each agent's speed / stability / style in the Agents page
